Wobbly Forms

I found some photos from a season where the form itself became the design.


I wanted to break forms.

I didn’t want ordinary silhouettes.

I wanted to put the feeling of a changing body into clothing.

I wanted to express punk, but not in an aggressive way.

Maybe1....these feelings were already showing themselves through the works.

During this season, I made some pieces with studs, and also pieces where I painted dots as if I was placing studs.

Maybe2... I was questioning the categories created around punk in fashion.
Maybe3... I wanted to show a softer side of punk.

I haven’t used this dotted painting style since then =
Maybe I found an answer.
Or maybe I just became free from needing to fit into a category.
